How to choose family matching outfits

Start with the occasion. A bold shared print works best for family photos, birthdays and holidays, while an easy color story, like blue stripes or soft florals, suits vacations and everyday outings. Many sets pair a dress for mom and daughter with a coordinating shirt for dad and son, so everyone matches without wearing the exact same piece.

Tips for a matching family look

  • Fit the hardest person first. Choose the style that works for the youngest child or the adult who is hardest to fit, then match everyone else to it.
  • Size each person separately. Use the size chart on each product page for every adult and child.
  • Match the fabric to the season. Pick breathable cotton and linen for summer, matching family sweaters for fall and winter photos, and matching family pajamas for holiday mornings.
